When it comes to cyber security, complacency can be one of the worst things for any organisation.

We are constantly looking at our end-to-end service offering to our customers to make sure it is the best and most effective. As part of that strategy, I actively encourage my team to constantly refresh their knowledge. This enables us to better understand our customers and provide the best advise on how to solve some of their biggest IT security problems.

Our account managers are no exception. Because they are the frontline to our customers we want them to have an in-depth understanding of cyber security and the associated challenges. This will better enable them to emphasise with our customers and help define requirements so that we can provide the right-fit solutions.

For this reason, we had our account managers complete the “Cyber Security Foundation+Practitioner” certification with ALC Group.

The course covered several critical areas of IT security such as:

  • incident response
  • risk management
  • security architecture
  • business continuity and disaster recovery.

What made the course especially relevant was that it was backed up by real life examples of how organisations were impacted by a range of cyber security incidents such as hacking, malware, social engineering, and a poorly designed disaster recovery processes.

The knowledge our account management team gained on this course will compliment their existing knowledge and experience and allow them to relate better to you, our customers. In addition, they have the support of our highly experienced security professionals with skills in security architecture, identity management and PKI, governance, risk and compliance, and more.

The threat landscape is constantly evolving and for that reason we are constantly updating our knowledge, skills, and solutions to better understand and protect your organisation
