Each quarter, the New Zealand Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT NZ) publishes a report that presents information and statistics on information security incidents and the latest threats reported in New Zealand. CERT NZ also provides advice and guidance on how to mitigate the risks posed by these threats by providing 10 critical controls for 2018 .
To show you how we can help you apply the guidance and advice from CERT NZ, we have mapped our solutions and services to these critical controls along with the threats identified in the two latest reports from CERT NZ. Information Security should be part of everyday business and be intrinsic to your organisation’s culture and business practices. Whilst the CERT NZ control framework is directed at technical controls and is IT-centric in its focus, it is also important to remember that all good security practices are underpinned by a comprehensive security model that also embraces People and Process security controls.
At SSS we are committed to providing solutions and services that are aligned with industry best practices as well as being up to date with evolving trends in information security. We make sure that the products we deliver are focused on the threats you face and are fit-for-purpose.
We are helping customers assess their security posture against the CERT framework. We look at prevalent threats along with their specific risk profile to ensure our customers are in a good position to protect or detect a breach.
If you would like to sit down with one of our consultants to discuss the CERT findings, your security posture and/or remediation plan please get in touch by email, email@example.com or phone, 0800 777 001.
