Ask yourself if you are able to:
- maintain an inventory of devices used by personnel working remotely?
- manage the configurations of devices used by personnel working remotely?
- provide physical security training for, and relevant to, personnel working remotely?
- provide network security guidance for, and relevant to, personnel working remotely?
- perform a risk assessment before implementing a technical solution supporting remote access?
- perform a risk assessment before authorising individual users to work remotely?
- follow vendor recommendations and industry best practices in securing the configuration of the virtual private network (VPN) and/or other solutions supporting remote working?
- ensure the VPN and/or other technical solutions supporting remote working are maintained and fully patched against known vulnerabilities?
- maintain the patch level of the operating system on devices used by personnel working remotely?
- maintain the patch level of applications and third-party software on devices used by personnel working remotely?
- keep current the scan engines and signatures of the anti-malware solutions on the devices used by personnel working remotely?
- detect, monitor, record, and respond to anomalous behaviour on devices used by personnel working remotely?
- follow vendor recommendations and industry best standards in securing the configuration of email solution(s)?
- assess possible impacts to insurance coverage for the organisation when people are working remotely?
