The Taranaki Regional Council wanted to further protect their network against ransomware and especially from threats that come in via macros in documents attached to emails.

It was SSS that Peter Nolly, IT Manager of Taranakai Regional Council turned to when he was researching a software product that would protect the Council’s network against ransomware and macro threats. He comments, “The rise of ransomware has been well documented in the industry over the last couple of years. While we have already invested and installed Clearswift’s mail and web sweeper products from SSS which check external email for viruses, we wanted to be completely protected from macro threats.”
