- PMDF popstore, a high performance POP message store
- PMDF-MSGSTORE, a high-performance message store
- PMDF-TLS, security services for Internet messaging servers
- PMDF-FAX, an email to FAX gateway. (OpenVMS only)
- PMDF-LAN for connectivity to PC LAN mail systems
- PMDF-MR for Message Router connectivity. (OpenVMS only)
- PMDF-X400 in conjunction with PMDF-MTA, for a full function X.400 MTA
