What is MIMEsweeper for Domino?
MIMEsweeper for Domino is for organisations using Lotus Domino for mail services. It is a policy based Content Security solution that enables organisations to manage threats in Domino Mail and Databases.
MIMEsweeper for Domino is available in two versions; one for Domino R5 environments and one for Domino R4 environments.
Why do I need MIMEsweeper for Domino?
Internet e-mail threats such as viruses and loss of confidential data are typically managed at the Internet gateway.
However, threats such as these can enter an organisation not only through e-mail, but also through downloading from the Web, on disks and CDs, or they can be generated internally. The internal e-mail system acts like a breeding ground for threats, and if left unchecked they are free to multiply and spread throughout an organisation.
