December 2009 SSS wins the prestigious Sophos partner of the year award 2 years running SSS has been selling Sophos' award winning products for many years and has made a big impact in local and central government, health, education and large enterprises. 2008 was the first year Sophos elected to include New Zealand and Australia in their Asia Pacific Conference. SSS has won the New Zealand Partner of the year award since that time. SSS continues to promote and support Sophos products due to the company's strong growth both in market share and in product development. Sophos' superior products have pushed them ahead of the competition both in the mind of SSS as a reseller and our customers.

December 2009 SSS release StripIT, the sixth ITmodule StripIT operates on word processor, spreadsheet and presentation files in Microsoft Office 97-2003 and 2007 formats and OpenOffice.Org (Basic, JavaScript, BeanShell and Python) formats. It can detect only or detect and clean macro content in these file types. It operates on Microsoft Windows 2003 and 2008 Server Standard Edition with Clearswift MIMEsweeper for SMTP 5.3 or later in single and multi-server environments.

January 2010 SSS experience growth within local Government In the past four months SSS have signed up six councils with Sophos Endpoint Security and Control and three with Mimosa NearPoint. The reason for this success is due to the products differentiating themselves from the competition. SSS and Sophos are now offering umbrella pricing for regional areas.

F-Secure selected by Microsoft for content security on Windows Home Server In August 2007 SSS announced that F-Secure has been selected by Microsoft as the first data security vendor for Windows Home Server. Windows Home Server is a Microsoft solution to help families easily centralise, share and protect their digital assets, such as photos, music and videos. "F-Secure has a strong track record of providing easy-to-use security technology that reliably protects consumers against rapidly evolving threats. We are pleased to work with F-Secure to help customers secure their digital memories and experiences," says Tovia Va'aelua, Microsoft New Zealand's Windows Server Marketing Manager. F-Secure software will work with Windows Home Server to protect consumers against computer viruses and other threats from the Internet and mobile networks.
